NEWS: 沈志强:首间房屋计划 无疑制造更多欠债人

This is the news report on my statement against Federal Govt’s My First Home Scheme. ———- Source: Kwong Wah (大山脚9日讯)威省市议员沈志强评击,日前由首相拿督斯里纳吉正式推介“我的第一间房屋”计划,无疑是制造更多欠债的马来西亚人,而不是解决房屋问题。 他说,该计划是让凡是每月收入少过3000令吉者,将可申请100%房贷。他认为,这是巫统及国阵政府提供短期的解决方案,同时掩饰长久以来的社会问题。 他说,住屋是一个基本人权,而联合国人类住区规划署曾阐明,各国政府应采取适当行动,确保这些权利可以充分的实现。 他说,在马来西亚,楼价的上升已成为长期的问题。毫无规划的城市化发展鼓励大规模移民,尤其是年轻人到城市寻求经济机会。 他说,房地产价格并没有受到任何政府的控制,因此,抬高了房子在拥挤城市的成本。另一方面,政府对公共房屋计划管理不善,许多屋子造成被滥用来租借给外国人。 最近几个报告显示,马来西亚60%的家庭收入少于3000令吉,而40%的家庭平均每月收入约1500令吉。 “随着居住在城市成本上升,政府的让原本负债的家庭债务更重。而纳吉的新措施只会让银行及地产商受益,并不能解决马来西亚人所面对的房屋问题。” 他建议,政府应该更积极提供价格合理及优质的房屋给予人民,而非让市场决定价格,并同时及提升现有的公共房屋计划。 “总之,政府应该拟定一个房屋政策,以解决房屋问题,而不是驱使马来西亚人,尤其是年轻人,背负更多债务。”
