2018年3月20日 | 吉隆坡 在本月18日,我在国会里询问了首相,有关他答应发放给槟州2017年11月大水灾的灾后援助金。 然而,首相署部长沙希旦却宣布,只发放了546万7250令吉于槟州2万1869户灾黎,也就是每户人家只获得250令吉。这笔钱也是在2018年3月11日开始发放,而这已是11月灾后的4个月。 相反,槟州政府仅在灾后1个月,即2017年12月便发放3664万7100令吉于5万2353户人家,而每户人家共获得700令吉援助金。 而联邦政府在2015年时,向吉兰丹及彭亨州的灾黎发放了每户500令吉的援助金。而首相也在2017年11月7日探访槟州时,承诺将会给予槟州相似的援助。 在2018年2月,沙希旦在玻璃市宣布,联邦政府将会给予全国10州水灾灾黎每户500令吉援助金。 然而,槟州灾民最后却只获得250令吉,更甚的是并不是每一户受灾家庭可以获得联邦的援助。 当我在国会向联邦政府要求,提高援助金额至500令吉,部长竟然表示政府没有足够的预算。 这不但令人失望,更让人惊讶。 国阵在槟城耗资上百万制作专业等级的假新闻视频,付钱在报纸上打广告,并发动海报战试图推倒槟州政府,但他们却宣称他们没钱援助槟州水灾灾黎! 为何槟城人被当成二等公民?我们槟城人也有缴税,而不像刘特佐和里扎 我们并没有要求他们可以媲美槟州政府所发出的援助金,只是要求他们发出和其他州属一样多的援助金,兑现首相的承诺。 大山脚国会议员沈志强
